Chapin came into the contest riding a strong stretch of play and once again displayed the offensive consistency and defensive discipline that has made the Huskies one of El Paso's top programs. The Huskies recorded 15.7 kills per set and a .197 hitting percentage in the match. Hanks battled throughout the matchup but couldn't overcome Chapin's offensive pressure. The Knights entered the match looking to rebound after a 3–1 loss to Montwood earlier in the week. The victory continues an impressive run for Chapin, which has quickly established itself among the area's top-ranked volleyball programs entering the heart of the 2026 season.
