🦅 ANDRESS EAGLES SOAR TO 6-0 WITH 66-0 SHUTOUT OF IRVIN

By PREP1 Sports | October 2, 2026 There was no drama. No comeback needed. No fourth-quarter finish. Just domination. The Andress Eagles continued their perfect start to the 2026 season Friday night, traveling to Irvin High School and dismantling the Rockets 66-0 in a performance that may have been the most complete game of the Eagles' season. The shutout was Andress' sixth consecutive victory, moving the Eagles to 6-0 while Irvin fell to 2-4. The 66-point explosion also marked Andress' largest margin of victory this season. 🦅 SIX GAMES. SIX WINS. Andress has been anything but ordinary this season. The Eagles opened the year with a 44-34 victory over Centennial before surviving a wild 57-55 shootout against Americas. Since then, Andress has added wins over Franklin, Chapin, Burges and now Irvin. Friday's result, however, was different. 66 points. Zero points allowed. Six straight wins. The Eagles have now surrendered only 41 points across their last four games, a remarkable defensive turnaround after allowing 89 points in the season opener. 🔥 MILTON LEADS THE OFFENSIVE ATTACK Quarterback Jamari Milton continued his outstanding season, throwing for 188 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. Milton also added 51 rushing yards, giving him a new season-high on the ground. Andress wasn't dependent on one player, either. Carmello “Mello” Jones produced 132 total yards, helping keep the Eagles' offense moving throughout the night. The result was a relentless Andress attack that simply kept adding to the scoreboard. 🛡️ DEFENSE LEAVES IRVIN SCORELESS While the offense was putting up video-game numbers, the Andress defense was making sure Irvin never found an answer. The Eagles recorded two interceptions, with Elijah Cooper and Duriel Martin Jr. coming away with picks. Jayden Lesser also made his presence felt, recording seven tackles, two tackles for loss, half a sack and a forced fumble. For four quarters, the Rockets couldn't crack the scoreboard. 66-0. A shutout on the road and the second consecutive week Andress has held an opponent to three points or fewer — following the Eagles' 42-3 win over Burges on Sept. 25. 🚨 NOW THE REAL TEST BEGINS The Eagles have taken care of business through the opening six games. But the biggest chapter of their season is next. Andress' next game comes October 16 against Riverside, and it will mark the Eagles' first district game of the season. So far, Andress has answered every challenge. Six games. Six wins. And Friday night, the Eagles didn't just win — they made a statement.
