🏈 34th Annual Greater El Paso Football Showcase Set for December 19

El Paso’s high school football season will culminate with one of the region’s most anticipated postseason traditions as the 34th Annual Greater El Paso Football Showcase takes center stage Saturday, December 19, 2026, at SAC II, with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 PM. The Showcase will once again bring together some of the area’s most accomplished senior football players for an all-star celebration of talent, competition and the game itself. On 12/19, 92 All-Stars will take the field, divided into two showcase squads — the Blue Thunder and the Red Storm — creating a matchup that promises to feature playmakers from across Greater El Paso. This isn't simply another football game. It's a celebration of the athletes who spent years competing under Friday-night lights, representing their schools, their families and their communities. For these seniors, the Showcase provides one final opportunity to put on the pads, share the field with some of the region's best players and represent El Paso football on an all-star stage. Blue Thunder vs. Red Storm With 92 All-Stars assembled, fans can expect a showcase filled with athleticism on both sides of the football. Quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, offensive linemen, defensive playmakers and special-teams standouts will come together for one final opportunity to compete as members of an all-star team. The familiar school rivalries will be set aside for the afternoon as teammates from different programs join forces and former opponents line up together.
